Tim Martin – J D Wetherspoon

Tim Martin is the Chairman of JD Wetherspoon Plc. He was born in 1955 and after attending Nottingham University he founded the first Wetherspoon pub in 1979 at the age of 24. Wetherspoon floated on the London Stock Market in 1992 with 44 pubs and today it has a total of 888 pubs. Tim is married with four children plus four grandchildren.
