His career as an investment manager can be\u00a0readily\u00a0summarized\u00a0by examining\u00a0the yield obtained by his Spanish equity funds:\u00a015.7% per annum in the period January 1993 &#8211; September 2014,\u00a0equivalent to an accumulated increase of\u00a02,279.2%, compared to\u00a0410% obtained by the reference index (IGBM, Madrid Stock Market General Index). In 1997,\u00a0he also began to manage\u00a0an\u00a0International portfolio,\u00a0achieving\u00a0leading positions in the market of foreign funds sold in Spain, with an accumulated yield from January 1998 to September 2014\u00a0of\u00a0437.5% (10.58% Annual Average Return) versus\u00a02.9% obtained by the reference index, the MSCI World Index. Mr. Param\u00e9s has set up his own firm, Cobas Asset Management, where as\u00a0Founder and Chairman he\u00a0is managing different funds and mandates under his unique value investment process.
